Ball Donates $7000.00 to Conestoga College
As part of their 90th Anniversary celebration on September 25th, 2013, Ball Construction donated $7000.00 to Conestoga College to contribute towards the school’s Health Sciences’ Research Institute for Aging. Serving the Ontario education establishment has been a continuous theme at Ball, who is renowned for building many university and college facilities across the province.
The special GVCA-event featured Memory Expert and Guinness World Record Holder, David Farrow, who demonstrated his amazing capabilities and shared tips and techniques for developing a great memory. The audience of over 100-attendees paid or made donations to the college, which were then matched by the partners of Ball Construction.
“We have had a long and successful relationship with Conestoga” noted Jason Ball, President of Ball Construction. “And we look forward to continuing to employ students from their excellent construction engineering and project management programs.”
Held at the Engineering Lecture Hall at Conestoga’s new Cambridge campus, the event provided a warm venue for friends and suppliers of Ball Construction and members of the GVCA to mingle, enjoy light refreshments, and be thoroughly impressed by Dave Farrow.
