Jason Ball receives the CCA General Contractor Award of Recognition
The prestigious CCA General Contractor Award of Recognition was presented to Jason Ball, President of Ball Construction on March 25, 2015 at the Canadian Construction Association Awards in San Antonio, Texas. For all of his efforts in addressing the issues surrounding general contracting, his dedication to the construction industry as a whole and his ongoing support for the various construction associations, Jason was seen as a more than worthy recipient for the award. The annual award show recognizes the contributions of individuals, organizations and projects that promote and enhance the Canadian construction industry, whether through innovation, projects, or dedication to the industry. Ball Construction recognized with Niagara Community Design Award
Jason Ball, President of Ball Construction along with Tom Rankin, CEO of Rankin Construction received the 2014 Niagara Community Design Award for a large scale project for their work on the Meridian Centre in St. Catherines. This award recognizes an infill or redevelopment project that is larger in scale or nature which demonstrates excellence in design. This project creatively and effectively uses land, compliments existing surroundings, and intensifies and provides additional choice within the area. The Meridian Centre has been repurposed from an underutilized site to a beautiful 5300 seat arena. Two bridges provide access to St. Paul Street and downtown St. Catherines. The Meridian Centre has brought new life to St. Catherines’ downtown by being pedestrian friendly and creating a connection with its’ diverse community.
