Ball Sponsors “Dangerous” Denton Daley
Ball construction is pleased to announce their sponsorship of Canadian professional boxer “Dangerous” Denton Daley. The 33-year-old Cambridge resident went to high school in Kitchener and now trains out of Brampton. He is currently ranked 7th in the World Boxing Association’s Cruiserweight/Jr. Heavyweight division.
Life-long boxing enthusiast and Ball Vice President, Cam Ball, was ringside at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga to see Daley make short work of Italian-based Romanian fighter, Giulian Ilie, back on August 29th.
Denton is one of those specially gifted athletes who picked up his sport later than most, seemingly on a whim. As a star on the basketball court for Sheridan College, he earned a degree in Business Administration, bought and sold a company and then became a manager for a multi-national corporation.
Then one day Denton accepted a challenge from a co-worker to step into the ring. It was then he discovered his innate boxing talent. Fast, agile and tenacious, he quit his job at age 25 and since then has had a meteoric rise as a Canadian boxing star.
Denton Daley is a superior competitor and a true inspiration to anyone chasing a dream.
