Ball Puts Finishing Touches on Blue Top Properties Project

Ball Construction’s Blue Top Properties project in Kitchener is almost complete. The sister buildings are located at 780 Wilson Avenue (Building A) and 45 Goodrich Drive (Building B) and include two 65,000 square-foot industrial structures.

The shell, site work, exterior concrete, paving and landscaping for Building B are now finished and the entire building is leased out. Gentek Building Products—a supplier of exterior siding, soffit, fascia, windows, etc.— moved in near the end of July.

We are currently working on the remaining tenant fit-up for Stance Healthcare, a manufacturer of medical grade furniture and anticipate their move-in date very soon.

Ball has a long history of constructing buildings with a very similar layout and size such as Home Depot, as well as a solid reputation and past experience working with local trades. It is therefore no surprise that all aspects of this project have run very smoothly.

Gentek Building Products Ltd. is one of the tenants for Building B.

The second tenant of Building A is Carehawk, a life safety and communication systems company.

Building A’s first tenant is Wolseley Canada, a leading distributor of plumbing, hydronic, HVAC/R and PVF products and solutions.
