The David Braley Health Sciences Centre Community Garden and David R. Lee Model Railroad
To add to the already prestigious, six-storey David Braley Health Sciences Centre, is the incorporation of a community garden and the David R. Lee Model Railroad exhibit.
As you enter the main entrance of the David Braley Health Sciences Centre, constructed by Ball Construction and completed in 2014, you are enticed to visit the community garden on the main floor. The indoor park features an elaborate, functioning model train set donated by Hamilton Lawyer, David Lee, along with water features, a living wall, stone planters and life-like trees. Working alongside NORR Architects, this project reached substantial completion in January 2018.
