Head Office Construction Underway at Becker Bros. Towing
Ball has begun work on a new head office facility for Becker Bros. Towing located at 1800 Strasburg Road in Kitchener, Ontario. Working in conjunction with Edge Architects, this construction management project involves building a new 6,886 square-foot, two-storey office building and a 20,292 square-foot maintenance facility that includes both truck wash bays and repair bays.
The project will encompass structural steel, precast floors, exterior brick, curtain wall glazing for the office and insulated metal panels for the warehouse.
Site services are in place and the foundations are underway. Structural steel is due to arrive in mid-February with work on the open web steel joist (OWSJ) framing system to follow.
Ball is ideally suited to meet the challenges of this project having constructed similar facilities such as the Robert C. Austin Operations Centre, in Halton Hills, and Team Truck’s facility in Cambridge.
