Durham College New Facility Announcement
In 2011, Ball completed a design-build project for Durham College’s student services building on their Oshawa campus. Ball is excited to once again collaborate with Durham, this time in the design-build construction of their Phase 4 Building Expansion located on their Whitby campus.
The intent of this project is to design a building that will extend off the Whitby Skills Training Centre and enrich the college and the community at large. The building must be designed with a high degree of flexibility in mind so that, over time, reasonable changes in program and use can be accommodated without major works to the facility.
Ball has a vast amount of experience working with design-build structures in higher education for clients of a similar size and cost, as well as expertise at coordinating various consultants and contractors. The project is currently in its early stages.
