Waterloo Co-op Residence Nears Completion
Ball is delighted to report that the second phase of the Waterloo Co-operative Residence is nearing completion, with occupancy achieved on August 30, 2019. The 9-storey precast structure will service University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University students.
A non-profit housing co-op, this construction management project involved a 114,000 square-foot addition to house 208 new student beds. The facility also includes lounges, main floor amenities, workshop, bike storage, laundry room, one level of underground parking and a fully landscaped podium deck. The landscaping work will be completed by the end of September.
We are proud of the team effort on this project, which resulted in completion ahead of schedule and under budget.
