Riverwalk Luxury Condo Project Begins
Ball Construction is pleased to announce the start of a new construction management project in the village of Chippawa, Niagara Falls.
Located by the scenic Welland River, Riverwalk Niagara Condos is being developed by Heller Highwater Developments. Heller Highwater retained SRM Architects Inc. to design the 5-storey luxury tower.

The design incorporates 67,663 square feet of condo space, plus 30,484 square feet of underground parking.
Ball and the design team were challenged by existing poor soil conditions. Through a value-engineering exercise, Ball and the team came up with an economical solution to solve the bearing-capacity issues. The proposed Geopier GeoConcrete column system will reinforce the subsoil condition and increase soil-bearing capacity. This cost-effective solution will not only increase bearing capacity but will also reduce and control any ground settlement. There is an overall cost savings in the concrete foundation and reduced construction time.
Condominium sales are underway and Ball targets project completion for the end of August, 2022.
