An Old Fire Hall is Gaining New Life
With construction starting in the coming months, Ball is excited to transform the old fire station located at 28 Ann Street in Bolton, Ontario, into a building that will bring the community together.
The fire hall boasts a 10,000 square-foot space, and with renovations there is no doubt this will be a remarkable building that will allow for large events to occur indoors, year-round. The Town of Caledon intends to explore how to make the building environmentally friendly, which Ball supports and encourages.
The old fire hall will become accessible to the public, provide public washrooms and be a neighbourhood resource centre. The building will truly become a central location for programs, services, and events. It will accommodate and foster a year-round farmers market and provide space for business startups and makerspace.
Following these renovations, the Village of Bolton will feel supported as they will have a space that will allow for small businesses and entrepreneurs to flourish.
The building will be renamed to better suit the new space. Ball Construction is honoured to be a part of this project as the design builder. Ball is delighted to have been given the opportunity to transform a historic building into a welcoming space that will serve the community of Bolton.
