Summer Projects Come to an End
The end of summer has approached, which means many deadlines are here. Ball has worked quickly to get several projects done just in time for the colder weather to be upon us. Specifically, our Small Contracts team was exceptionally busy, with classroom renovations, arena renovations, and rink pours.
Conestoga College, Phase 2
Classes are back in session! Ball worked quickly to renovate this space in downtown Kitchener, to be Conestoga Colleges’ newest campus location. Several classrooms were constructed which host a welcoming atmosphere for all the incoming students.
Although the renovation only spanned the summer months, the space is completely unrecognizable. Ball worked hard to ensure that this would be completed for the start of classes at the beginning of September. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and look forward to seeing the space be used by the college.
Lindsay Recreation Complex
Two hours away from Balls head office, Ball had the exciting opportunity to quickly transform this existing arena in time for the winter sports season. Between renovating the ice rink change rooms and completing the rink pour, Ball was kept busy. After a quick summer, we are pleased that the Town of Lindsay can start their sporting season off strong as they have a newly renovated recreation complex.
Grand Valley & District Community Centre
Later on in the summer, Ball started to transform the Grand Valley & District Community Centre. After a few decades, it was time that the ice rink received a refresh, and Ball was thrilled to be the ones making these changes. With the rink recently poured, Ball looks forward to completing this space for the community to enjoy.
