BWXT Canada Ltd.: Breaking Ground

Ball Construction is proud to collaborate with BWXT Canada Ltd. on their ambitious facility expansion and renovation project. By the end of 2025, this undertaking will deliver a 65,000-square-foot addition, featuring a new boiler room and a clean room, alongside significant upgrades to the existing facility.

Foundation work is set to begin in early November, marking a tangible step forward in this transformative project. The expansion will complement the successful renovations already completed, including a modern cafeteria for BWXT employees. The renovation phase was executed seamlessly, demonstrating Ball’s commitment to efficiency and excellence.

Throughout the construction process, BWXT will continue its operations. Recognizing the importance of safety in such a dynamic environment, Ball Construction has implemented robust measures to ensure the wellbeing of workers and the public.

Looking ahead, steel installation is scheduled for early 2025, a pivotal milestone that will provide the structural backbone for this cutting-edge facility. Despite the challenges posed by seasonal conditions, Ball remains steadfast in its commitment to maintaining the project’s schedule and quality.
