Jason Ball, President, G.S.C.
Jason Ball is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a bachelor of science and a business degree. Jason started in the construction industry at the age of 16, working as a student labourer during his summer breaks. After graduating from the University of Waterloo, he started full time with Ball Brothers Limited, working as an estimator (1985–1989), as coordinator/project manager (1989–1991) and then as construction manager (1991–1997).
In 1997, Jason and Cameron Ball purchased Ball Construction Inc. from Ball Brothers Limited and in 2005 incorporated Ball Construction Ltd. with new partner Gary Hauck. Jason has been acting president of both firms from 1997 until the present.
Cameron Ball, Vice President, Partner-In-Charge
Cameron Ball graduated in 1990 from the Civil Engineering program at Queen’s University and is a registered professional engineer in the province of Ontario. After graduation, he started his career as an estimator with Ball Brothers Limited where he gained experience working on a wide range of industrial, commercial and institutional projects. In 1997, after partnering with Jason Ball and purchasing Ball Construction Inc., Cameron advanced to become construction manager and in 2005 became vice president and partner-in-charge after Ball Construction Ltd. was incorporated.
Gary Hauck, Vice President, Estimating Manager, G.S.C.
Gary Hauck graduated in 1979 from the Construction Engineering Technology program at Conestoga College. He has been an estimator at Ball Construction since 1979 and oversees all functions of the Estimating Department. In 2005, Gary partnered with Jason and Cameron Ball and is now vice president and estimating manager.
Rod Aitken, Vice President, Pre Construction, LEED AP, G.S.C.
Rod Aitken graduated from Conestoga College in 1998 from the Construction Engineering Technology program and joined Ball forces in May 1998 as a full time estimator. In his 19 year career with Ball Construction he has worked in the capacity a construction estimator as well as project manager. Since his graduation in 1998, Rod has become an Accredited LEED™ AP and is Gold Seal Certified. In 2016, Rod became the fourth partner of Ball Construction and vice president.
Brent Cochrane, Vice President, General Manager – Small Contracts, P,GSC, ACET
In 2008 Brent graduated from Conestoga College obtaining his diploma from the Architectural Construction Engineering Technology Program. Brent joined Ball Construction as an Estimator immediately after graduation, starting his career with the company. In 2015 Brent advanced to General Manager of the Small Contracts Division, and now in 2022 Brent is proud to hold the title of Vice President as Ball Constructions’ newest partner.
