Annual Staff Golf Tournament, a Success!
Despite the threat of rain and a two-year delay due to the pandemic, the staff of Ball Construction teed off together on Sunday, June 26th at the beautiful Rebel Creek Golf Club in Petersburg, Ontario. The Ball Golf Tournament is an annual event that has been occurring for decades, and all who attended were excited to continue with the tradition.
Players and guests were treated to excellent playing conditions, many refreshments, a delicious prime rib dinner, a mixed entrée buffet, and a full dessert table (which did not last long).
President Jason Ball welcomed guests with some great swag and a bountiful prize table before handing out the hardware alongside partners Rod Aitken, Cameron Ball, and Gary Hauck.
While returning champion Brendon Aitken had a respectable 2nd place finish of 2 over, he was nudged out of the champion’s seat by his younger brother Noah Aitken who shot par!
Noah went on to take home the longest drive award as well! The Aitken brothers know their golf.
Martha George, President of the Grand Valley Construction Association, proudly outperformed everyone in the low net category.
Rounding out the awards was Connor Wilson. New to the Ball team this year, Connor struck it close… to win the closest to the pin award.
A big thank you to the organizing committee for hosting another great event. Ball looks forward to next year’s Golf Tournament in 2023, which also happens to be our centennial year. 2023 will be filled with many celebrations, and we are confident each event hosted will be one to remember.
