The Finish Line is in Site for the Miskin Law Community Complex
The end of the year will be an exciting time for the city of Peterborough, as the highly anticipated Miskin Law Community Complex nears completion. This new facility is expected to become a local hub for the community, providing a space where residents can gather, play, learn, and celebrate.
The grand opening of the complex is scheduled for mid-December. During this event, the community will come together to celebrate the new facility and explore all that it has to offer.
The centerpiece of the complex is its twin rinks. The ice surface pours were successfully completed this summer, and ice-making is slated to begin in late November. The facility will feature 12 team dressing rooms and 3 referee dressing rooms, ensuring smooth transitions between games and activities without any backlog.
In addition to the impressive rinks, the complex will also house an impressive library and versatile multi-purpose rooms, perfect for hosting a wide range of community programs and events.
The building is now fully enclosed and watertight as it enters the final stages of construction. Exterior work is also progressing, with curbs being poured and landscaping taking shape.
Ball Construction is simply thrilled that Peterborough will have a new community center for everyone to enjoy by the end of 2024. This new facility promises to be a significant asset for the city, fostering a sense of community and providing a space for residents to connect and thrive.
